About

Is your spiritual life stagnant? Are you in need of a deeper understanding to meet the secular world and current times? Do Biblical readings confuse you?

This certainly described me in the past, and continues to this day.

Hello! My name is Patrick, and I belong to a group of Catholics that yearn for deeper answers while maturing in faith. In my years as a child, I was a bit more attentive to religion at my Catholic Educational Program and as an altar server and later as a Eucharistic Minister. But during my earlier years, I overheard a discussion amongst two adult ministers where a woman gushed of “having the ability to understand scripture.” I really didn’t think anything of it at the time, as it really was second nature to me, but I figured I had some sort of gift or skill. As time went on, it remained an easy task for me to “hear” what the Gospel or any Biblical reading was trying to say. Or maybe I just find messages where others cannot, aside from the clergy men and women that is.

Over the years, some things in religion just didn’t make sense. I didn’t want to necessarily question our Catholic faith, but instead, turned to other philosophies and teachings to supplement my approach. With a more well-rounded philosophy, life became a bit more fulfilling.

As I do not consider myself to be nearly as educated as Biblical scholars or students of religion, Cathoclick truly boils down to the sharing of what I’ve been able to extract in recent years. I will be the first to call myself flawed, but still have a need to share my perspective with those looking for answers and can’t seem to find any.

With the launch of this spiritual platform, it is my hope that at least one person can benefit somehow. That includes me. I know that if I can assist with the improvement of one other individual, then I have done my duty as a Catholic. Anything more is icing on the cake.

God Bless,
Patrick
